Welcome to Women Physician Entrepreneurs of Houston

Women Physician Entrepreneurs of Houston is a network of private practice owners who are building something of their own. Our members are board-certified women physicians based in the Houston area doctors who don’t just practice medicine, but run businesses, hire teams, and shape their own patient care from the inside out.

WPEH was founded in 2024 to connect women physicians who lead in independent practice. Some of our members own private clinics. Others serve as key decision-makers within group practices or collaborative care models. What they share is a commitment to clinical autonomy, high standards of care, and a desire to grow alongside like-minded professionals.


We’re not part of a hospital system. We don’t answer to corporate boards. Our members set their own priorities and define what success looks like in their work. WPEH was created to support that kind of leadership with a strong peer network, trusted referrals, and space for open conversation.

Our method is simple.

We live out our values.

We take a multi-level, interdisciplinary team approach to address critical service gaps in historically marginalized, and economically disadvantaged communities. With our long-term experience and sound reputation as a model 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we offer a wide spectrum of support services to the community and our program participants.

WPEH members are active in the community and the conversation.
